This snippet is from a project of mine, titled Journey to the Lost Lands. It was started about six months ago, and I still don't have very much written.

The dark shadows crept over the ground as she lightly swept over the forest, the wind from her passing rustling the leaves behind her.
Are you there?
Are you there?
Are you there?
The words echoed in her mind as she swept over the plains, and they resonated in her thoughts as she swept over the valley.
Haunting her.
Always haunting.
As the light ahead grew brighter and brighter, she turned, ever so slightly, and started in a westerly direction.
The wind around grew colder and colder as snow started to fall.
Yet she still glided on.
Behind her, the dark blue sky sunk into a soft blue, and a pink light started to appear in the sky.
The stars faded away, so did she.
But she was not gone. In the night, she would glow again, searching for her lost family.
Always searching.
