"Rose!" The voice drifts across the island, carried by the spring breeze, but to the girl in the light blue dress, it doesn't exist. For today, the dark-haired girl is on a mission to create peace.
The girl's dark hair is pulled into a braid. Sapphire blue eyes peer out from beneath long bangs, and in her hand a turquoise stone is clenched. As she starts her journey across the water, a golden sunset plays across the scene. It seems to her like the perfect day to fix her wrong.
She shivers as her feet slip into the shallow water. The warm sun fools many visitors but she knows the island.
Carefully, the girl steps onto a rock, balancing as she places one foot in front of the other, making her way across the stream.
Her brown eyes dart from rock to rock, and finally up to the trees. A green hammock is strung between two trees, and a cloak is hung on branch. A large turquoise stone sits on an old, rotting stump.
Quickly, she steps onto the bank and makes her way to the stump. Gently, she lays the stolen stone on it.
And she smiles.
